What do import and export trading companies mainly do
Import and export trading companies, also known as foreign trade enterprises, mainly engage in cross-border trade. Simply put, they are companies that engage in buying and selling transactions with overseas merchants. Import and export trade consists of two parts, namely import trade and export trade! These types of companies have the right to engage with overseas merchants, which is called import and export operation rights.
Foreign trade enterprises, due to their import and export operations, can generally help production enterprises handle customs clearance procedures, sell goods overseas, and then obtain agency fees from them! Alternatively, one can find foreign trade clients themselves and then act as an agent to purchase goods from national factories, selling the goods overseas to earn profits.
1、 What are the business scopes of import and export trading companies
1. Import and export business of various commodities and technologies through self operation and agency; Sales of food, kitchen supplies, household appliances, toiletries, household items, clothing, bags, and sports equipment.
2. Import and export of ordinary goods and technologies, except for goods and technologies restricted or prohibited by the state for company operation or import and export; Domestic coastal freight transportation agency; Coal, mineral products, building materials, cement clinker, rubber products, barrel lubricants, aquatic products, metal materials, chemical products, mechanical and electrical equipment (excluding small cars) and spare parts, general labor protection supplies, hardware, household appliances, cotton, plastic products, fuel oil agricultural products (excluding food), fertilizers, asphalt, cassava chips, daily necessities, office supplies, furniture, food.

2、 What qualifications are required to establish an import and export trading company
This needs to be determined based on the export country and region of one's own company's products. Exporting to the European Union requires CE certification, exporting to Japan requires PSE certification, exporting to the United States requires UL certification, and exporting to Saudi Arabia requires SASO certification. Different countries have different certification requirements. But all must apply for an import and export license.
